Peptides in Longevity-Pathway Research

All information here is for laboratory and educational research only. No compound referenced is approved for human or veterinary use, and nothing here is medical advice.

The short version
  • This overview covers peptides researchers study in aging and longevity, such as Epithalon and GHK-Cu.
  • The evidence is early and mostly preclinical or from small studies; there is no proof these extend human lifespan, and the article is honest about that.
  • Longevity communities discuss them heavily, but those are unverified anecdotes, not controlled results.
  • None is approved for human or veterinary use, and nothing here is medical advice.
  • BioRegen sells these strictly for laboratory and educational research.

Scientists are paying more and more attention to how the body ages at the level of its cells. A handful of peptides (small chains of amino acids, the building blocks of proteins) come up often in this work. This page walks through what that research looks at and points out where it is still very early. All information is for laboratory and educational research only. No compound referenced is approved for human or veterinary use, and nothing here is medical advice.

How researchers approach aging pathways

Most of this research zeroes in on a few basic processes inside cells. These include keeping telomeres healthy, dealing with oxidative stress (everyday wear and tear from unstable molecules), repairing damaged DNA, and helping cells renew themselves. Keep in mind that most of the studies so far have been done in the lab or in animals, not people. So the results point in interesting directions, but they are not proof, and there is still very little human data.

What the research community anecdotally discusses

People in online research circles often swap personal stories about these peptides. It is worth being clear about what those stories are. They are unverified personal accounts, not results from careful studies. BioRegen does not make or back up any claims based on them.
